Michele Mitchell is the founder of MTAM Law, PLLC. Before opening the firm’s active practice, she developed her experience at nationally recognized and AV-rated law firms, representing businesses, insurers, governmental entities, public officials, and individuals in state and federal litigation.

Michele founded MTAM Law to combine the strategic rigor of larger-firm practice with the accessibility and personal attention of a boutique firm. Clients work directly with the attorney handling their matter and receive advice tailored to their legal needs, business objectives, and broader circumstances. Her approach emphasizes thoughtful strategy, direct communication, and practical solutions rather than a one-size-fits-all process.

Michele earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, where she completed a concentration in Intellectual Property, Cybersecurity, and Information Privacy. During law school, she was a member of The ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law, where her research focused on a comparative analysis of United States and Japanese copyright law. Additionally, she served as President of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society and Vice President of the Intellectual Property Law Society.

She is admitted to practice law in Florida and before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Today, her practice focuses on business law, commercial litigation, intellectual property, and defamation matters, drawing on her deep background in complex civil disputes, contract and insurance matters, and reputation claims.
